Blue Lake Club Report. Labor Day, 2004. The wife and 7 month old son attended Blue Lake this lst Labor Day and had a great time. We make it about twice a year. This time my wife enjoyed volleyball tournement and we both enjoyed petanque and the many parties around the club. It was our son's first enjoyment of his floatie in the pond and we enjoyed cooling off on a warm day. The hotel rooms were full but we took the RV and had a great time (no breakdowns, old RV) so we will take it next time. Wish there was a campground in Iowa. Thanks Maxx for the report!

Blue Lake Club Report on Singles Status - 2002. Being a single male, I was happy to find your link with reports on various resorts across the country and their policies regarding single males. While checking on Blue Lake Resort in Illinois, I noticed you had them listed as a couples-only club, but I took the following message off the Blue Lake Resort web site. It seems to refer mostly to membership and does not clearly set a policy for visiting single males, but I may well check by mail to see if a visit is okay. Their stated policy: "In order to maintain an appropriate balance between males and females, Blue Lake primarily accepts couples or families for membership. We have a quota for singles. If you are a single, contact the office by postal mail to be added to our list. Please include names of AANR camps visited previously, a reference and let us know if you are already an AANR member. Do not come to the gate without a specific invitation from the office. We wouldn't want you to make an unnecessary trip. Thanks for your interest." Chicago Sun Club has been actively organizing nudist events throughout Chicago and its suburbs for 18 years. We hold regularly scheduled meetings for nudists, naturists and those who just like to go without clothes! Nudrus Family Nudist Club. This is a small private club that is open to all of good moral charactor. Usually on weekends there are cookouts on the deck.We have: sunning deck; a sunroom/lounge area with TV, darts, and various games; a "cool" tub - a hot tub with cool water in it to cool off on those hot summer days. Lawn vollyball, badminton, horseshoe etc. Outdoor bath facilities. Sleeping quarters: apare bedroom with queen size bed and bath facilities; hideabed on enclosed patio; tent spaces. Nudrus near Normal, Illinois. May 2006. I'm a single male who needed to get a way for Memorial Weekend but I didn't want to go where there would be the usual holiday party crowds. Don't get me wrong, sometimes I like crowds and lots of people around but I've been having some problems and I needed a quiet weekend. The directions off I-55 were easy enough and I arrived on Saturday the 27th in the morning. It's a small place and except for a sign that said Nudrus you would think that it was just a farm house in the middle of nowhere. I was greeted by a friendly naked guy in his 60's who was watering his flowers and other plants. I talked to him for a while and decided to stay for a least one day. It was the most relaxing day I have ever spent so I stayed another day. I relaxed in the sun on a lounge chair most of the day and I took a couple of long walks with the owner. After the sun went down I watched a nudist video from his large video library. Had lunch with the guy who rents a room. Spent time next to the pool/hot tub. (I also lost 3 and a half pounds of my winter fat). I really didn't want to leave but we all have to go back to the real world. If you need to get away from everything. Somewhere quiet, safe, relaxing. Maybe you've never tried nudism and for your first time you want to go where there is no crowd. This is the place. Thanks Gotnogirl for the report.
