During my last Vancouver stay this past summer, I had the opportunity to go at Wreck beach twice. The place is famously renowned as one of the two official Canadian naturist beaches.

Access Trail No. 6 to Wreck Beach
The simplest way to get is to take trolley bus no.10 from downtown Vancouver up to the end of the line located into the British Colombia University. Then you just have to walk west through the campus and find the trail no.6. Going down to the beach using the trail is a beautiful experience because of the tree surroundings. It will take you about 10 to 15 minutes to reach the beach.

Trail No. 6 to Wreck Beach
The beach is characterized by coarse grain sand and dispersed logs that protect you mainly of wind. Remember that Vancouver temperature in summer usually reach a maximum of 20-24 Celsius. But the sun is strong and you will need some kind of a good sun protection.

Wreck Beach
A lot of regulars are staying on the beach. During the week, space is no issue. The atmosphere is unique since there are different people ranging from families, young, old, artists, etc. Needed refreshments or more you can get through the walking entrepreneurs or at the daily tent.

An official nudist beach located like Wreck is surely a big advantage for the Vancouver people and visitors. If you go there I recommend you to spend an afternoon. I am sure you will appreciate.
