Puerto Rico. May 1999.
If you do come down here, you must stay at the Conquistador Hotel at Fajardo. (The town I grew up and started nudism). COguy is right, The Hotel rents the Island or Cay to a very rich family here and that half the south section is for the guest at the Hotel. The north section where the owner has a house is CO but only on weekdays not weekends since a lot of people go there during a boating day and may accuse you of indecent exposure and you may go to jail for it.
No beaches in PR are CO truthfully but several are during weekdays when locals like me are working.
I do recommend to go to Playa Colorá and Convento. These are also at Fajardo just off the Hotel going north on route 987. Go to Seven Seas Beach, then walk to the left or north (facing the water). You will find a path just towards the end of the bay. Walk through about 100 steps straight and you shall meet the beach in front, this is Convento Beach. Along the way you will see another path to your right, walk through and meet Playa Colorá. Both are great and lonely for most of the time.
If you wish you can take a boat to other cays of the Fajardo coast. The cays are named Icaco, Palominito, and of coarse Palomino. Others are available but don't recall the names now. One is even further in to sea reaching Culebras which does have solitaire beaches as well.
Culebras and Vieques are 2 islands of the east coast that have solitaire beaches as well. Never been to these, but I do know they are gorgeous...
Enjoy
