Arriving at Barcelona we traveled north along the sea towards France. Following directions from Luis Cortés we were able to find a few of his recommended beaches. One area is the Cap Ras peninsula near the french border, a uninhabited area wuth a number of beaches and coves, also a designated nude area.

Spent some time there along with a few tourists and some locals who were apparently regulars. Quite nice but not an easy walk in. Sun stayed high so people were there until after 5 pm. Later we went to the nude beach near the radio towers near Pals, which saw considerably more use. This beach had a few preferred areas where the locals had no qualms about spreading their towels just a few feet away from us if we were in the choice spot. One girl in particular hunkered down close to us and angled toward the sun lying on her back apparently soaking up some rays on her golden ....!! Also nudity seemed to be ok on other beaches as long as it wasn't near a restaurant or hotel.

All in all the area was ok for getting some all over sun while soaking up the culture and ambience of the country. Prices quite low compared to france or UK, similar to the USA.
