Palma De Mallorca, Spain. Beach: Es Trenc
Summer 1999.
When visiting the Spanish island of Palma De Mallorca, one must go to Es Trenc. The beach has wonderful soft, white sand and along with the entire beach being topfree, there is one sections especially for nudists. To get to Es Trenc one must follow the southern road from the airport to the east. When you get to the town of El Arinal (about 30 minutes time), continue through to the second roundabout. At the roundabout, go southeast (to the right) and follow the road about another 15 minutes or so. You will come upon a small village...continue through the village and you will begin seeing signs for Es Trenc. Follow the signs. Once you reach the parking area, be prepared to pay (600 pasetas at this writing...about 5 USD). Proceed to the beach following the footpath and then once arriving, go to the right. Proceed another 500-600 yards and you will begin to see nude use.
It's well worth the 700 pasetas (about 6 USD) to rent a chair and umbrella for the day. The sun was warm, the water slightly cool (still springtime) and the people very friendly. Lots of families on holiday. Bring plenty of water. There are two bar/restaraunts on the beach but the prices were just a little steep.
