Bare Valley was founded by long time nudists (Barney & Linda) with a vision to exemplify the best of clothes free living. Our property features 50+ acres of forest and recreational area to be explored and enjoyed. Bare Valley is ideally situated within Wayne National Forest. We have plenty of tall timber and hills to stop most winds and plenty of open areas to allow the sun's warming rays in. Even with cold weather upon us, some of our members do still enjoy hiking and, yes, even relaxing at Bare Valley. Although Bare Valley is closed to visitors until April, we do invite families, couples and singles to review our literature and consider becoming members. Bare Valley Report. A 90-minute drive from Columbus will get you to Bare Valley, nicely situated in the Hocking Hills of Ohio. Bare valley does not have a great array of facilities, but there is enough for a fun weekend. Most notable about Bare Valley is probably the hiking trails, well maintained and secluded. The trails lead through a few hills and valleys on property adjacent to Wayne National Forest. There is also a rather large hot tub, but that has taken second place this season to the new swimming pool. The pool is very nice; temperature moderated at just the right level, and at night there is a rather enjoyable fiber-optic lighting system which changes colors. Besides the permanent facilities, there is a small cleared area that seems to be used solely for volleyball - I did play a few games - and plenty of space for tent and trailer camping. On a final note, the staff and owners were very nice and were glad to provide an enjoyable weekend to their visitors. Thanks Bir'd'in for the report.

The Buckeye Naturists is a non-landed club. Our membership is open to couples, families, and singles, growing from 18 original members to nearly 200 today. Our activities include indoor swims, parties, and other events during the cooler weather months. At the swims, you will have the opportunity to play water volleyball, swim a few laps, enjoy the sauna, and socialize with fellow naturists. During the summer, we travel to landed naturist/nudist clubs around the state and to various clothing-optional sites. Singles-friendly club.

Cedar Trails Nudist Retreat is located in the Appalachian foothills of southeastern Ohio. Although we are a quiet country retreat we are easily accessible from major state highways. Cedar Trails Nudist Retreat Report. 2004. Nestled in the cedar hills of southern Ohio rests the quiet resort of Cedar Trails Nudist Retreat. Complete with distant howling foxes, free range rabbits, spying deer, and well stabled horses, Cedar Trails begs for those who are drawn to the outdoors to explore nature with its well marked and maintained hiking trails winding through the 60 acre resort. A hike up to the open fields on the hilltops both inspires and relaxes. Following it up with a dip in the 20’x40’ heated swimming pool, a dip in the wood fired/propane fired hot tub, and a fishing pole visit to the pond is sure to please the most avid outdoor person. But enough brochure language, lets get down to specifics. Tent areas are provided with electric and without. Multiple RV sites are available with 50 amp service. Water is delivered to the RV sites and there is a dump station. There is plenty of room for larger Class A rigs. The shower house is heated and air conditioned and outdoor showers are available by the pool. A natural spring runs on the resort. The clubhouse is a bit small, but boasts a pool table and darts among other options. One petanque court has been overrun by horse-shoe enthusiasts, but the other plays fine. The pool is always very clean and they have recently built a shelter near it for when the body parts become too pink and for other gatherings. The resort is single friendly, but it is best to call in advance. It is all very nice, however, I would have to admit that the greatest plus to this resort is the people. Fred and Jo Ann Roessler, the owners, are wonderful people and have attracted a very nice group. I felt at home immediately and the more "regulars" and "live-on’s" that I met, the more it was re-enforced. The bottom line is that I absolutely did not want to leave after 5 days tenting, and called my office, begged and stayed 6 days. The price is reasonable, the people are great and the resort has all the usual comforts. Thanks jrnokes/pinky for the report!

Green Valley is a Family-oriented nude recreation facility. Established more than 65 years ago, we are secluded on 47 wooded acres complete with hiking trails, a heated pool, volleyball, shuffleboard, horseshoe, miniten courts, petanque and playgrounds for the children. We have a heated clubhouse with TV, games and kitchen appliances for cooking. Picnic tables, grills and a large campfire ring... as well as cabins, trailer and campsites...are available for rent by our visitors and guests (be sure to e-mail or call ahead for reservations.) We are one of the cleanest and friendliest campgrounds and try to make everyone feel at ease. The club is open seven days a week from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor day Weekend, with dances, dinners, campfires and other activities nearly every weekend during the season. Have Sun Will Travel (HSWT) is a non-landed (travel) club and meets in Columbus, Ohio on the 1st Saturday of the month, October through May, for an indoor swim. Paradise Gardens Report. I spent a very nice day on September 16 (2000) at Paradise Gardens near Cincinnati, Ohio. Although I received a less than glowing report from a member of Cybernude Chat, I decided to try it anyhow. The resort is easy to find and has an electric gate at the bottom of the hill. Once on the grounds, it is very private and quiet. There were only about three dozen people there because the weather turned a little chilly in the morning. By noon, several of us were out on the lawn soaking up the sun and a breeze. The hot tub was just right and so was the sauna next to it. Vivian made me feel very welcome. They had some problems with the county regarding camping on the property, but reportedly that has been settled. There were several tents set up in the trees above the clubhouse. The large indoor pool was really too cold except for three youngsters who braved the 72-75 degree water. I used the hot tub, sauna, and the shower room numerous times. The grounds are clean and enjoyable to hike around. Their Bass Lake covers several acres. A couple of people were fishing and one couple took their daughter out in the paddle boat. I talked with two couples who are members there and they were very friendly. They have a nice clubhouse with a small library. I read a detective novel while soaking in the sun. All together, it was a relaxing and comfortable nude day. Thanks Paul for the report!

Sunn Jammers Recreational Park is a family oriented nudist campground in the Columbus area. It occupies 62 acres with a four acre lake for swimming and fishing. There are water, electric and sewer hookups throughout the park for overnight camping. Fire rings and picnic tables are also located throughout the camp. Among the amenities are a large clubhouse which houses the hot water showers, lockers, rest rooms, hot tub, bumper pool, table tennis and soft drink machines. There are tables for those wanting to get away from the sun and a large deck which overlooks the grounds.
