BARE BUNS Family Nudist Club. Serving nudist families, couples and singles, primarily in the areas of Washington, DC; Baltimore and Annapolis, MD; and Richmond, VA. BARE BUNS was founded "to provide opportunities to enjoy healthful, wholesome, and relaxing clothes-free recreation in a family environment without any appearance of shame. CAFN (Capital Area Family Naturists) Report. October 2004. My wife and I joined last April, but had not attended any events. Last Saturday, the second Saturday in October, the club held its first event since it became incorporated. This was to be a party at a recreation center, complete with pool, spa, and the works. These parties would be scheduled, monthly during the fall and winter. We arrived at the party at about 8:00PM and were greeted by smiling familiar faces from the old club. Commonwealth of Virginia Naturists is a non-landed, family-oriented, social club, designed to meet the needs of the people in the area that enjoy the Naturist Lifestyle. Potomac Rambling Bares has since its founding in 1984 provided a comfortable atmosphere for nudists in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Maryland and Virginia areas. PRB is a very active member-run AANR clothing-optional non-landed or "travel" club. PRB's activities include a variety of house parties (such as pool parties, backyard barbecues, massage workshops, and annual Super Bowl and homespun music parties), rambles to landed nudist clubs, and outdoor nude activities such as forest hikes and beach trips. White Tail Park is located in beautiful Southampton County, Virginia, and offers a wide variety of activities and facilities for all ages. Situated on 45 peaceful acres, White Tail Park is about 50 minutes from Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Richmond, and Colonial Williamsburg. Our pool offers swimming and is a centerpiece for sunbathing the natural way. For more active tastes, we offer paddle tennis, nature trails, and volleyball. Enjoy billiards, ping pong, or video games in our Clubhouse. After a day in the sun, you can relax and unwind in our hot tub. Special events such as dances, karaoke, pot luck dinners, and game nights are regularly held. The only nudist/naturist facility in Virginia. White Tail Park Report. July 2006. We recently visited White Tail in South Eastern Virginia. This was our first visit there in a few years and boy has it changed. They now have an all year indoor pool and an outside pool finished last year. Plenty of sun lounges surround the pool on a large deck. A snack bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. A full service resturant is scheduled to open in July. Also available is a large hot tub and sauna. Everyone we met was very outgoing and friendly. A welcoming "HI" is always heard. A dance on Saturday night was well attended and a good time had by all. For sightseeing, Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and the Atlantic Ocean are all within an hours drive. White Tail Park - Mid-Atlantic Naturist Gathering Report. June 14-17, 2001. The TNS marketing folks are missing the boat if they do not print tee-shirts reading, " I survived the first Mid-Atlantic Naturist Gathering." Our weekend of adventure began with a four hour drive through thunderstorms to White Tail Park in Ivor, Virginia, last Friday afternoon. As we are not campers, and the park had run out of rental units before I had made my reservations, we had to drive an additional half hour to reach the recommended motels in Suffolk, Virginia. After another half hour drive back to White Tail, we were in real danger of missing dinner. The kind, friendly lady in the office began our check-in for the gathering. Realizing it was late, and we were hungry, she gave us our food coupons and told us to get some dinner, and finish the check-in procedure after we had eaten. The dinner, consisting of salad, vegetable, potato, and dessert for myself, and all of the above, plus a steak for my meat eating companion, was plentiful, and delicious. White Tail Park Report. 1999. My family lives at White Tail Park but we visited many times over 3 year period before we moved here. It is a charming little park on 45 acres. They are a family oriented place where everyone makes you feel right at home. Their small but ample cabins and rooms are very reasonable and homey to anyone looking for a great place to stay even in the winter. Thanks Elaine for the report.

White Tail Park Report included -- Nuding Across America. Summer of 1999. We had planned a great vacation for years and at last the opportunity became available. We have been interested in Civil War history for years and had been reenactors, written magazine articles about the Civil War and been members of several historical associations. Amanda is a high school teacher and needed real examples to put more life into history lessons. We needed to replace one of our cars as it was several years old and we didn't want to drive from coast to coast or have to rent a car.
