Creative Body Casts. I am a Life Caster member of the Association of Lifecasters international. I am also a Painter, etcher, wood engraver and miniaturist with work exhibited at Royal Academy Summer show in the 1980s and in other exhibitions including Royal Institute of painters in Watercolours and Royal society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers of whom I was formerly an Associate member (a.r.m.s.). Lately my work has developed exclusively into the realm of bodycasting and decorated sculpture. Working from the human form and weaving with it forms from the natural world. I create body casts in which i use as the surface for a painted/decorative image - "landscape in the body" rather than "body in the landscape". a. USA, Arizona:Casa Blanca Hot Spring Report. 2011. Experience CASA BLANCA HOT SPRING, Tonopah, Arizona, where it has never snowed. [Casa Blanca Hot Spring is separate from the former naturist facility we owned next door, which we sold in 2005. 1. Reports and Clubs:
a. USA, Florida: Cypress Cove Resort Report. April 2011. We (my wife and I) just spent a fun-filled, very enjoyable week at Cypress Cove. We went a few days early because the Travelites (Cheri's Travelites) had organized a gathering there, and we also stayed past the weekend they left. We stayed in our RV at a nice level spot with a concrete patio. Other RV'ers would be interested to know the electrical voltage and water pressure at the site was very good. Everyone we met was very friendly. The WiFI was good and we didn't have any trouble with it. The restaurant served good food and the Saturday night we were there there was an entertainer who did a tribute to Billy Joel, the Piano Man. It was very relaxing. There are two locations for a pool and hot tub. The older one has a rectangle swimming pool and hot tub inside an enclosure. The newer one has a freeformed pool and the hot tub is out in the open. A snack bar separates the two areas. There were plenty of lounge chairs at both places. If you don't like lying out on the concrete, there are also grassy areas. There was a place to get a massage, a hair salon, and a Boutique. We always travel with a small dog and one thing we really liked was there were three chain-link enclosed areas where you could let your pet off the leash and let them run and play, and take care of 'their business'. And several other areas that were not enclosed that also served as the dog walk areas. Bags and pooper scoopers were even provided. There were two Publix grocery stores nearby, as well as a Wal-Mart, and several other department/home improvement stores. A 7-11 was right across the street in case you needed something quick (like bread or milk). This was one trip we hated to end. We both enjoyed it very much. We paid more for the price of gasoline on our trip than we did for a full week in the campground. So I guess that means the next time we go, we'll just have to stay longer...
b. USA, Florida: Sunburst Resort. Effective January 1, 2011, Sunburst will no longer ba a nudist park. We are converting to a textile RV park with affordable lot rent. Visit the site for additional information.
c. USA, Tennessee: Chattanooga Naturist Club. (Yahoo club). 2011. The Chattanooga Naturists Group (CNG) is a group on Yahoo (chattanooganaturists) that is moderated and well maintained. It is composed of nudists/naturists within driving distance of Chattanooga, TN. Members use the website to post messages and photos about their experiences and get-togethers so they can better enjoy and share the healthy benefits of this wonderful lifestyle. No spam or sexually explicit content or links to such in your profile will be allowed. If it doesn't pertain to nudism/naturism, it is removed. A note by the moderator on the home page shows that: 1) Membership requires approval by the moderator, 2) You must have a viewable profile filled out for membership, 3) Empty profiles will not be considered for membership, and 4) Your age and location must be shown in your profile. NO PROFILE = NO MEMBERSHIP. NO EXCEPTIONS. The group is composed of members of all ages. Several members bring their children to the functions. The group has several gatherings during the year. Gatherings range from going to dinner at restaurants in the Chattanooga area (textile, of course); outings on the Tennessee River, including a nude excursion on an old paddlewheeler boat owned and operated by one of the members; organized trips to nudist resorts; meetings at individual members' homes; and, several gatherings at one individual's home on the Cumberland Plateau, who has a large enough area to accomodate a good number of nudists in an open-air meadow. There's also a place to sit under a roof if it happens to rain. This area has a wood-fired hot tub, sauna, volleyball court, and an adjoining campground with full hookups in walking distance to the nude use area. This place is the favorite location for a lot of the group members. At each gathering here there is a pot-luck meal, where if you leave hungry, it's your own fault. One gathering even included a hot-air balloon ride, nude! So you can see, the group is active. Visit their site for more information.

a. USA, Indiana: Indiana Naturists is a non-landed private social group affiliated with AANR. Our members are from IN, OH, and MI. We gather year round to enjoy wholesome nude recreation and to make friends. Anyone of good moral character is welcome to apply for membership. Visit the site for additional information.
b. USA, Louisiana: Indian Hills Nudist Park. The atmosphere at Indian Hills Nudist Park is wholesome and friendly. Indian Hills activities often include sports and events much like any other resort. You'll enjoy swimming, walking, hiking, volleyball, cycling, themed parties, special meal events, and the opportunity to meet a wide variety of people, diverse in age, profession, and culture. That area of the park known as "The Woods" is the area at the rear of the Park that is filled with beautiful trees and nature. There are trails for hiking and viewing the habitat. Remember, this is a PUBLIC area of the park and many families enjoy taking walks there. Visit the website for additional information.

a. USA, Arizona: Mira Vista Resort Report. 2011. I had the opportunity to stay at the Mira Vista Resort in Marana (Tucson) during my annual buying trip to the gem and mineral shows where I acquire inventory for my shop. I stayed for five nights. I have been staying at Mira Vista during these trips ever since they opened four years ago. I wrote a trip report after my first stay and if you are interested in the history of the property, you should refer to that report.
